About Green Chemistry Network Centre Chapter (GCNCC)
Green Chemistry Network Centre Chapter (GCNCC) was established in Akal University with the permission of GREEN CHEMISTRY NETWORK CENTRE (GCNC) co-ordinated by Prof. Rakesh K. Sharma, University of Delhi. GCNC was established in University of Delhi under the recommendation of World Leaders in Green Chemistry headed by Prof. Paul Anastas (known as the father of Green Chemistry). GCNC also prepares and disseminates the teaching materials on Green Chemistry for school, college and university levels with the simultaneous design of laboratory experiments for these levels as well.
Objectives of GCNCC at Akal University
The main objective behind the establishment of GCNCC in Akal University is to build a Network for exchange of expertise, discussion and knowledge between industrialists, academicians’ chemists and engineers with interests and expertise relevant to Green Chemistry.
