About The Department
The Department of Economics (DoE) at Akal University (AU) is rapidly emerging as a center for excellence in economic studies, offering students a comprehensive understanding of economic principles, theories, and their practical applications. With a dynamic curriculum covering key fields such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, environmental economics, Mathematical economics and developmental economics, the department equips students with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience. It is committed to shaping critical thinkers capable of analyzing, interpreting, and forecasting economic trends and policies.
