Call for Applications Under RPIP (3/2022)

The Office of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor is inviting application(s) for the 3rd round of 2022 under the Research Incentive under the current University Research Promotion and Incentive Policy (RPIP) scheme, for faculty members’ published work during May-June 2022.
In the current call, those faculty members desirous of availing the incentive under this scheme, may please submit their application(s), filled, duly signed, and scanned in soft copy, and forwarded by their HODs/Incharges in the prescribed format (attached), and submit it to the Office of Dean Research, through the Apply link below.
Separate applications must be made for each research paper/chapter/book and separately for each faculty member. If multiple faculty members from Akal University wish to apply for the same publication, each faculty member must submit a separate application.
Faculty members may please note that the work must have been published already by the time of this call (AOP is acceptable if the publication is available on the internet with DOI), and must not have been awarded in a previous call. Please note that the application form and the full PDF of the research paper for which incentive is claimed, must be merged into a single PDF document. Please upload the entire application in a single PDF file (Max. 4 MB).
In case you have applied before for the same publication, and have been asked to furnish further details, please email the details along with the full publication PDF to the Office of Dean Research at adres@auts.ac.in, mentioning the date of submission of your earlier application and your ORCiD iD in the email Subject line (No need to apply again).
Application PDF MUST include the following (in a single pdf file) in this order:
1. Publication Input Form (Properly filled and signed at appropriate places, form available here, print and fill), duly endorsed by the HOD.
2. Full publication PDF (in case of book, scan the title page and copyright page before the full chaper)
3. Proof of Journal indexing/Inclusion in UGC Care List (Take a screenshot and save it on your local machine). Check it here: <https://ugccare.unipune.ac.in/apps1/home/index>
4. Proof of Journal Impact Factor (if any) (Thomson Reuters is the one to be referred)
ORCiD iD of the Applicant MUST be mentioned at the appropriate place. Without ORCiD and the proper format of application materials, the application is liable to be summarily rejected (You can create one here). The decision of the Committee is final with regard to this and subsequent calls. Incomplete and/or poorly prepared/formatted application(s) shall not be considered by the Committee for consideration. The Office of Dean Research will NOT organize the documents on behalf of the applicant.
HODs/Incharges are requested to please consult the University Research Policy to check the eligibility and other details, before endorsing (Publications that have been assigned DOI and is available online as AOP may also be considered). ONLY THOSE APPLICATIONS THAT ARE DULY ENDORSED BY THE HOD AND IN THE PROPER FORMAT OF APPLICATION AS SPECIFIED IN THIS EMAIL WILL BE ENTERTAINED. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL BE SUMMARILY REJECTED WITHOUT ACCORDING ANY FURTHER EXPLANATION.
